If you currently subscribe to the Verizon Online DSL768 K plan, you will not qualify for the "VoiceWing Unlimited for Verizon Online DSL and Fios Customers" discount. Because of a systems error, however, you may receive this $5 discount for your first month of VoiceWing service. Going forward, you will be charged $34.95 per month for your VoiceWing service. VoiceWing differs from regular telephone service. A DSL or cable Internet connection, a regular telephone, a router, and a telephone adapter are required for service. VoiceWing does not provide operator services. VoiceWing will provide service only in areas where it can direct a 911 call to the appropriate emergency response center in a manner consistent with applicable law. If VoiceWing cannot provide service in an area, service will be suspended. VoiceWing will not provide a credit or refund for the period that service is in suspension. Customer must maintain alternative means of accessing 911 emergency response services. Customer must provide an accurate service address in order for VoiceWing to route 911 calls to the appropriate emergency response center. VoiceWing may not be compatible with some home security systems, satellite TV systems, digital entertainment systems, fax machines, modems and medical monitoring devices. VoiceWing may not work behind some firewalls. Network congestion or use of data services at the same time as VoiceWing may affect sound quality. Service requires a one-year commitment. Early termination fee of $19.95 applies. Service not available in all areas.

What is VOIP?

Voip, also known as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), is a technology that allows you to make telephone calls using a broadband Internet connection instead of a regular (or analog) phone line.
